This was for my own little lady, who is really into fire trucks. I used a new chocolate cake recipe that I kind of made up, and used an orange cream buttercream frosting, of course covered in mmf. It was pretty yummy, although there really was a lot of cake, so there was a lot left over. The ladder was made using white chocolate. I was actually worried about that, and made a few extra in case of breakage. But in the end it seemed fine, and didn't break at all.
Since she was turning two, I used the number two on the side, for the truck number. With the hose and hydrant, I wasn't sure where to put her name, so I ended up writing it on the water with an edible marker. I think it turned out cute, although there were a few things that bothered me.

Snowman Cupcakes:
I sadly had a deleting mishap, and ended up loosing all my christmas photos. Which means I lost the pictures of my cute Christmas tree cupcakes, and Rudolf cookies, which explains why I haven't posted in awhile, I haven't had anything to post.I made these cute little guys for my daughter's preschool treat, today.
I debated about giving them arms, and decided to just omit that completely. Maybe you didn't notice, or maybe you were just thinking what happened to their arms? Oh well, I thought it didn't need one more thing.
And luckily we finally got snow, so it doesn't seem silly sending out snowman cupcakes in spring like weather.
