Animal Cake

Well, it seems that muppets are in this year. This is the 2nd muppet themed cake I have done in the last 6 months. This cake was made for little Jude, for his first birthday.

 This was chocolate cake, with vanilla almond cream cheese frosting, covered in mmf.

 And this little dude was for him to smash. A tiny little chocolate cake, covered in buttercream. (It's best not to use fondant for a smash cake, because buttercream is easier to smush and make a big mess out of.)

 I really like how these turned out.  You'd be surprised at the amount of time I looked at pictures of the little muppet while I was doing this, I think I'm starting to really like this animal muppet.
